“Obstacle? What Obstacle?”

This year there are 29 children living in “Bilay’s Home”.

It was great to visit “Bilay’s Home” again.

It’s inspiring to see how much this handicapped lay pastor has accomplished under seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

Instead of blaming others for his misfortunes he is living with purpose and positively changing lives.

Bilay, and his family have opened their hearts to a growing number of poverty stricken children.

What an amazing testimony to the power of God.

Steve had an opportunity to speak with the principal of the local Thai government school where all of Bilay’s students attend.

The Thai school did not originally allow non-Thai students to attend because it is difficult and time consuming for the teachers to try and teach students who don’t know the Thai language very well.

Because of Bilay’s outstanding service in the community, this principal has worked hard to obtain government approval for non-Thai students in his school.

The new policy includes non-Thai students to at least grade Three. The principal will ensure that the diligent ones can continue on through high school.

He also told Steve that the children from “Bilay’s Home” are excellent students. Their behavior is exemplary and they study hard.

These children are thankful for your support and are doing their best to take advantage of the opportunity you have given them.

Every month, Leading to the Light distributes your “Thailand Projects” funds to several local programs including “Bilay’s Home”.

This summer we will again be traveling in America. Our goal is to invite many others to join with YOU to support Bilay as well as:

•    Dedicated local missionaries in Thailand and Myanmar
•    10 Day Youth Camps
•    Impoverished Families and Communities
•    Student Sponsorship Programs

To safeguard the children at “Bilay’s Home” and ensure that the Thailand projects will receive the financial support they need during our absence, we need to raise $6,600.00.

Will you please help us reach our $6,600.00 commitment
to ensure that these projects are protected while we are working in the States?
All the necessary arrangements must be made by April 12.
Thank you,

“Together we can empower the people of Southeast Asia.”
