Equip Students with Skills for a Brighter Future

Why This Fund Exists

The Skills for Life: Vocational Classrooms Fund provides practical training and spiritual education to students from poor and marginalized villages. Your donation helps individuals learn valuable trades—including sewing, mechanics, blacksmithing, and gardening—while introducing them to the hope and transforming message of the Gospel.

By combining hands-on instruction, mentorship, and faith-based teaching, the program prepares students to pursue meaningful employment, greater financial independence, and purposeful lives.

How Your Support Makes an Impact

Practical skills can open the door to lifelong opportunity.

Many people in marginalized communities want to work and provide for their families but lack access to vocational education, proper equipment, and experienced teachers. Skills for Life removes these barriers by creating classrooms where students can learn useful trades in a supportive environment.

As students develop their abilities, confidence, and faith, they become better prepared to support themselves, contribute to the local economy, and strengthen their communities.

“We believe Leading to the Light is a vital organization which has done and is doing so much for God’s work in Thailand and Myanmar.”

Erick and Jonalyn

"We have been supporting Leading to the Light for about a decade… We appreciate their personal commitment to go Thailand, live there, and see firsthand the needs. They have acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of the work there. This gives assurance to us and others who support Leading to the Light that our offerings are being used to help others come to Christ.”

"Leading to the Light has been able to surprise us often as they so quickly recognize needs, find funding, and put in place solutions. The ministry has saved many lives, provided shelter, food, education, and so much more. It is amazing how far God expands His reach to meet these goals. It is my privilege to help financially as well as my plea for others to support them similarly. I often recognize I can only do so much with what I have but together we can do more than anyone could imagine: especially when we have God leading the way!"

Terry and Jennifer

"Leading to the Light is in a place where I cannot possibly go. Since I cannot travel overseas myself, at least I can do what I can to support them financially."
