2016 Emerald Graduates

Did you realize that your support of Leading to the Light is having an impact on thousands of lives?

WE ALL have cause for rejoicing when the student becomes the teacher.

Next month, our medical missionary graduates will divide into three teams. Each team will spend one month in a village to teach the church members what they learned at Emerald.

Their goal is to build up some of the smaller churches by empowering the members to be more effective in their outreach.

Together, the graduates and church members will hold community workshops and seminars giving them first hand experience on how to reach peoples hearts by caring for their physical needs.

The spiritual training that the students receive at Emerald makes a life changing impact.

After graduation, an astounding 90% of our students will dedicate their lives to God’s work.

This year we will open a second location in Myanmar to give more Karen students the opportunity to participate in the Emerald training.

Our one year missionary training program will begin at Emerald-Myanmar. After eight months of training, the students, who are serious, will come to Emerald-Thailand. These students will receive their final training and tests.

Our plan is that EVERY Karen student who completes the one year program will be offered a payed position as a medical missionary or a teacher evangelist.

Hearing our students enthusiastic plans for a life of evangelism is what motivates us to keep sharing with you the needs of this growing missionary training center.
