Project Description
The Isan Evangelism Fund is dedicated to supporting gospel work across the Isan region of northeastern Thailand—home to over 23 million people and one of the most spiritually unreached areas in the country. Made up of 20 provinces and comprising nearly one-third of Thailand’s population, Isan is marked by deep poverty and spiritual darkness. Despite its size, Isan remains one of the most unreached areas in the country. Over 70% of the population lives in poverty, earning an average of just $400 per person per year. Even more staggering, there are only 500 Seventh-day Adventist members and just 14 pastors across the entire region. The Isan Evangelism fund strengthens and expands gospel outreach by supporting local gospel workers, establishing a missionary training center, and creating Centers of Influence that offer hope, healing, and truth.
Objectives:
- Support Local Gospel Workers Across Isan:
Provide financial support and resources to empower gospel workers as they share the love of Jesus, lead Bible studies, plant churches, and build faith-filled relationships in unreached communities. - Establish a Missionary Training Center:
Launch a center dedicated to equipping new and existing gospel workers with the spiritual training and practical tools they need to reach the Isan people effectively. - Develop Centers of Influence:
Create community-based outreach hubs offering health education, literacy programs, children’s ministries, and spiritual support—bridging practical care with Gospel engagement. - Deepen Our Impact in Ubon Province:
Continue supporting and growing the 13 churches already planted in Ubon, where our team has been ministering for the past seven years. This province is becoming a strategic base for training and outreach across the greater Isan region.
Impact Goals:
- More people in unreached communities will hear the Gospel as full-time gospel workers are supported and empowered to serve consistently and boldly across Isan.
- Hearts and lives will be transformed as gospel workers use Bibles, health tools, and teaching materials to share truth in a way that resonates deeply with the people they serve.
- A new generation of Isan missionaries will rise up—trained and equipped to carry the Gospel to places where Christ is still unknown.
- Families living in poverty will find practical help and spiritual hope through Centers of Influence that offer a safe place to learn, grow, and encounter God’s love.
- Entire communities will be strengthened in faith as Bible studies, evangelism, and discipleship programs take root and multiply in Ubon and throughout the greater Isan region.
Fundraising Approach:
The Isan Evangelism Fund is fueled by generous donors who believe in the power of local leadership and relational ministry. Contributions directly support gospel workers and project development in Isan—covering transportation, housing, outreach materials, training costs, and ministry operations. Every dollar goes directly toward equipping and sustaining gospel workers, launching training initiatives, and creating outreach centers that share the hope of Christ with communities who’ve had little access to the Gospel.

Isan is not just underserved—it is nearly untouched by the Gospel. The need is great, but the opportunity is even greater. Local gospel workers know the language, understand the culture, and carry a deep burden for their own people. When equipped with the right tools and support, they are able to plant seeds of faith that grow into lasting change.
